After a long break due to my father’s health, MyOrnamentbySermin is back with a new project: The Medici Collection

Who were the Medicis?

The Medici was a prominent family that ruled Florence then Tuscany (Italy) from 1434 to 1737. Their historical story has been one for the books… They were an Italian banking family and political dynasty.

What inspired to make a collection of their family crest?

The Medici were an influence and patronage on the Arts during the Renaissance era; the era of re-birth. Leonardo Da Vinci was a Medici benefactor…

Wearing a Medici crest is honoring their legacy as well as manifesting success in life for me personally… MyOrnamentbySermin is a vessel to share this experience with you.

What pieces can we expect in this collection?

The Medici family crest will transform into a handmade collection of fine silver. The collection will be presented in Summer and will be available upon pre-order. Pieces that will build The Medici Collection will start with pendants and earrings.

• NEW YORK, NEW YORK?? [Dec 2022]

MyOrnamentbySermin has signed a 3 month contract with Flying Solo in New York!

The New York special collection will both be available at Flying Solo stores and Flying Solo website. A long preparation process has commenced for the creation of the unique New York items. Sermin's "ornaments" will be flaunting in New York starting March 1st of 2023.

We are absolutely stoked to have our signature present in a city that is known as one of the world's center of fashion!
